Rubber Expansion Joint Tutorial

  • The Ultraspool premium expansion joints are the most versatile rubber spool expansion joint available. They come in diameters from 1" to 120", and can be made with any elastomer material or any other special requirements.

  • The Ultraspool Double expansion joints are the standard two arch version of our Ultraspool, which allows additional movement. They come in diameters from 1" to 120", and can be made with any elastomer material or any other special requirements.

  • The Ultraspool Triple expansion joints are the standard three arch version of our Ultraspool, which allows maximum movement. They come in diameters from 1" to 120", and can be made with any elastomer material or any other special requirements.

  • The Flextra 150 spool expansion joints are an excellent alternative. They are molded and have a wide arch for good movements, and iron retaining rings. Available in butyl and EPDM. From 2" to 24" diameters.

  • The Tefspool expansion joint is a rubber spool with an integral PTFE liner, giving it the strength and pressure rating of a rubber expansion joint, and the chemical resistance of PTFE. 1.5" to 24" diameters.

  • The Ultrasphere is an economical rubber expansion joint, often connected to pumps and equipment to provide for movement and absorb vibration. The freely rotating metal flanges and tapped holes allow for easy installation. Multiple materials are kept in stock. 1" to 30" diameters.

  • The Ultrasphere with Cables is a variation of the Ultrasphere with built-in control cables. This eliminates the need for separate control units that must be installed in the field, adding security. 2" to 12" diameters.

  • The Ultrasphere Twin is a variation of the Ultrasphere that allows more movement. 1" to 24" diameters.

  • The Rubber Reducers are spool expansion joints connect unequal size pipes. Standard designs in any elastomer are available from 2" to 18".

  • The Rubber Reducers are spool expansion joints connect unequal size pipes. Standard designs in any elastomer are available from 2" to 18".

  • The 1000T Spool expansion joint is a molded arched rubber spool expansion joint for moderate pressures and movements. Available in butyl and EPDM. From 1" to 14" diameters.

  • Rubber Pipe Connector is used primarily to suppress noise and vibration from pumps, chillers and other equipment. It does not use an arch, so the movement is limited. Standards from 1-1/2" to 20" diameters, but specials are common.

  • Fully molded rubber duct expansion joints used as flexible fan connectors with integral rubber flanges are available in round and rectangular configurations for low pressure air & gas services. Any dimensions and flange drill pattern can be fabricated.

  • Control units are required with rubber expansion joints when the piping system is not anchored to properly restrain the joint from expanding under pressure.

  • Flexicraft SLV Flexible Couplings is a high quality expansion joint with unique sleeve ends to clamp over pipes. Construction is of reinforced neoprene or silicone, and they are rated for 75psi. 2" through 12" diameters.

  • These economical expansion joints for low pressure drain, waste, and vent applications slip over pipe and accommodate expansion. 1-1/2" to 4" diameters. Purchased in cases of 20 pieces.

  • These quality expansion joints primarily for low pressure drain, waste, and vent applications slip over pipe and accommodate greater movement than other options. Also for low pressure exhaust. Used to connect cast iron, plastic, and steel pipe in 2", 3", and 4" only. 6" and 8" models work with cast iron pipe only.

  • Fully Molded Rubber Boot Coverings are available in any design. Various elastomers can be used for special OEM applications requiring low pressure retaining coverings. Please contact the factory for assistance with your requirements.

  • The Flexicraft Rubber Duckbill check valves are an efficient way to control back pressure from sewage treatment plants, outfalls, and tidal operations. Series CPF flanges directly to pipes, storm water headwalls, and Series CPO directly clamps. Series CPI mounts between existing flanges, and Series COJ flanges into systems with a full metal body jacket.
