ULTRASPHERE W/ CABLES

OVERVIEW:  The Ultrasphere is the most widely applied rubber expansion joint available today. For a reasonable cost, it provides good pressure, temperature, and movement characteristics. It also helps to control pulsation shocks and noise transmission.

The floating metal flanges on this expansion joint freely rotate for easy installation, and it comes with tapped holes which eliminate the cost of nuts. Drilled holes are also available. The Ultrasphere with cables is just like the Ultrasphere with one big difference: no control units are required.

The cables that are supplied at the factory act as control units, which are normally installed in the field.  If you are not sure if you need control units, or if you don't want them installed on-site (possibly incorrectly!), this is the right choice.

Ultrasphere Twins are used exactly as the standard Ultrasphere Spherical Rubber Expansion Joint, but it allows greater compression. Like the Ultrasphere, the Ultrasphere Twin can be provided with control cables.  Also available are Ultrasphere Twin Unions, which are used for connecting pipes and equipment where threaded union ends are preferred.

Large inventories of Ultrasphere expansion joints are kept at the Flexicraft warehouses for quick delivery.  Neoprene, EPDM, and Nitrile rubber elastomer materials are all stocked.
